Australian stamps
Thenationalcolours,
green & gold, hold a treasured place in the Australian imagination. Long associated with Australian sporting achievements, the national colours have strong environmental connections. Gold conjures images of Australia’s beaches, mineral wealth, grain harvests and the fleece of Australian wool. Green evokes the forests, eucalyptus trees and pastures of the Australian landscape. Green and gold are also the colours of Australia’s national floral emblem – the golden wattle. In 1984, green and gold were formally recognised as the national colours |

~ Marsupials ~
give birth to undeveloped live young, that wiggle up into Mother's pouch and grow there, suckling on milk.
Marsupials are one of the three major types of mammals based on how they birth and rear their young.
They are named for the female’s marsupium; the pouch in which she carries her young.
Marsupials, much like placental mammals, give birth to live young, unlike monotremes who lay eggs.
However, marsupials have a much shorter gestational period than their placental counterparts do do.
The mother’s pouch serves as an incubator after the baby is born, allowing them to continue to grow and develop.
The most commonly known species of marsupials are the possum, koala, and kangaroo,
although there are over 270 known species, including wombats, bilbies, and the Tasmanian Devil.
Marsupials are primarily indigenous to Australia and South America,
with Australia being home to over 120 of these species,
holding the title to the highest number of marsupial species

God made Australia home to marsupials.
He made koalas to eat our gum leaves only.
He made marsupials resistant to our poisonous plants,
-these plants are now used to make Ten80 bait for foxes.
Most of our marsupials are so small, we didn't notice them disappearing,
while introduced foxes and 10 million ferral cats are on the loose in Australia,
annihilating the marsupials.

But, thankfully, working continually to save our marsupials are many dedicated people-e.g:
