Poochiepups ~ ♫ And I Love You So ♫ |
~ Puppies 'n Pooches ~
Puppies, pooches, poodles... Oh my, they're so much fun
Mittens, lickin's, droobles, all filled with so much love
Snuggles, cuddles, snoogles... Don't we just love the hugs
Fluffy softness, messy doo-doo's and Please take me for a run
Stray hairs upon the carpet
Wash me?...If you can
We cannot help but love'm, tho' diggin' in the sand
Eyes of, love me, love me, paws of velvet touch
Ears that cock with every word
Just lovin' us so much

~ In Love With You~
It's just that you are fluffy, sleek, with eyes of gentle brown;
Your face so sweet and very bright and dear to look upon.
It's every look you give to me, with that twinkle in your eyes,
And the pleasure that I seem to get, from feeding what you like.
It's the things we always like to do, the time we love to share,
The walk that we are hoping for, and the way we love to care.
But, the one great thing that tops it all
And makes our love so true,
Is, just that you're in love with me
And I'm in love with you.

~ Pawprints Of Love ~
Our dog was big for just a little fella
He didn't know that he was small,
'Cause his devoted heart for us, sure made him stand so tall.
His 'job' was to protect the yard
He never knew he might be mocked,
When they saw 'Beware of the dog' on the gates securely locked.
His kingdom was his world to rule, to chase the hens, the puss or pest,
His bark was strong, his head held high
His pedigree, no-one could guess.
That tiny brain never a draw-back, for he was clever it is true,
With a passle of performing tricks, to always treat us to.
Hi folks, please shake my paw or shall I dance the twist,
I'll roll over for a treat, beg for more or shall I sweetly sit.
But my favourite game is grab and catch me if I run,
I'll twist and turn and dodge
I love to tease for fun.
Just take me with you, is my plea I so want to be your friend,
Keep my pawprints forever in your heart
For I'll love you 'til the end.

~ Angel Pup ~
It was an early start, just as the sun peeked o'er the hill,
The day began before I knew
My diary was so full.
First I checked in on my mother dear and she was mighty glad,
She had a load of love to share ;)
But, now she doesn't feel too bad :)
Then I did the rounds to say hello to each and every friend,
I don't know why they didn't stay to play
As I dug around each pen.
You see, the chickens they just scattered
And all the cats were such a lark!
Oh, there was such commotion And all I did was bark.
Then I found some drippy things to chew, wagging from a whirling line,
What a tug to bed them down into the mud
But, such a rewarding time.
All day I gave it all I've got, not shy to share God's love at all,
For everyone is special, come what may
So do give me a call.
I may be fast asleep, exhausted from the tumblin',
But, sweet are my angelic dreams
From a delightful day of lovin'.

~ My one in a million ~
Why does a puppy love so much
What is this loyalty he gives, how do we get so attached
What did God have in mind for us, to give this perfect match.
He smells a bit, He needs a lot of care
A bath, some shots, a feed, a scratch
So how come those doughy eyes become such an alluring catch.
He wags his tail, he lifts a paw, responds so eager to a call,
He stays, obeys but, why does he love us so
Why does he give his all.

We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and
love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all.
It's the best deal man has ever made.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Be ready for a tummy rub at a moment's notice.
Obedience from others is important- train the people you love.
Be sure to look cute when you are misbehaving.
Run, romp and play daily.
There is no such thing as too much food
Be loyal.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close
by and nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the
guilt thing and pout... run right back and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
When all else fails, look pathetic.
If you stare at someone long enough, eventually you will get
what you want.
Always leave your mark.
Leave room in your schedule for a good nap.
If it is not wet and sloppy, it's not a real kiss.
Don't go out without your ID.
If all else fails, pet the dog.

Just in case you didn't know, I think you're just too cute
The way you always plonk right there
So very resolute
To be my friend, all soft and sweet
And gentle eyed, you're such a lovely treat
If you please, though, there's just this li'l secret I need to tell you so...
I have you buried, don't you know...
Way down in my heart, where I love to keep
My very special treasure trove.

~ Fluffy Friend ~
He sure is just a little dog, all full of fun and fluff
But though he sits so very small, he has a lot of love
His favourite is the garden, where he can run about
He's always full of mischief and pulls his blanket out
He loves to munch on bones- (Don't let him chew my feet)
He chomps his jaws so cute like-"How yumyum is my treat"
He argues with that funny ball, rolling wildly in his glee
But, he's never any trouble, when he is fast asleep
He had his fur all trimmed, now we can see his eyes
Oh, we wish he'd sleep all night, but, he's just a little guy
He explores the house so snuffly, then flops within his ring
We might not like his puddle-plops
But, we love the fun he brings

~ I Know I Am Adorable ~
Soooo you can't resist me ever,
'cause I stare at you and blink...
Then you can't just walk away
'Cause you know, I know, just what you think
My eyes bore into yours with the softest tenderness
My plaintiff pleading looks, are nothing but a test
To see if you will melt and keep me closer all the time
For every moment of the day
You've got this lil heart of mine

~ Cute Prints On Your Heart~
I think I cannot help it, being very cute,
I mean I don't even try hard to look sweet
And you think I am a tease.
I'm a real live fuzziewuzzie and you need me very much
I am a little gift of gentleness, something soft to touch.
I make you smile, I leave my mark, I bring you lots of love
To melt away the fuss 'n' bother
I'm in there for a hug.
I know all about what loyal means
So on me you can depend
Just keep me warm and snug
I'll be your true best friend.

~ My Secret Little Pup ~
I do try at times, really I do
To get myself all set-up,
Organised and tidy, but I have this mischief in the way
My secret little pup.
Just when I think I may be on track, with myself all immaculate,
Some other tricky little thing
will get me all unravelled yet...
But... Might life be more fun with a secret little pup.
For I sort of like having him around, to tickle and to tease,
Sneaking up behind with a cute surprise
Waking me out of my reverie, my funny bone to tease.
If the day was all predictably smooth,
I might get just far too chuffed,
Without those funny quirks, the slip ups, that always make me grin,
The unbeknowns, the mystery
of my secret little pup.

~ My Faithful Dog ~
I turn and there he sits, as usual, by my side,
My faithful devoted friend, for me, he'll never die.
For I'll ever hear his gentle breathing, his step upon the stair,
My heart can never lose the image of all his loving care.
A rustle in the garden, he's lunging at the chase,
That convoluted wagging tail is tearing out the gate.
For a scent upon the wind is hiding in the trees,
Dog will sniff it out as usual a crunchy treat to seize.
He knows when I'm alone, when friends have gone once more,
He rests his chin upon my knee, his tail thumping on the floor.
When it's time to check the mail, My Dog, obedient 'Stays"
But he knows where he's allowed to walk on sunny days.
When I get all dressed up for things I have to do,
He'll lay sadly at the door, my loyal dog so true.
Maybe he hasn't won a medal for a coat that I could show,
But he sure stole my heart
This.... is all I know.

~Puppy Love~
What a wonder is sweet puppy love
With us always in our deepest woe, only loyal as we weep,
remaining ever close.
They seem to understand that joy and sorrow
Are intrinsically as one,
While we are trying to find release
And let the pain be done.
But, there's something very special about the bonding in a grief,
Don't we feel such a loving touch
When together we can weep.
As our sorrow calls forth a depth, never felt another way,
While we contemplate the ways of suffering
For what comfort we will pray.
And how much more we appreciate
Blessings that come our way
If we like a puppy, feel another's pain
Might we never more complain.
As they know true joy, of gratitude would we more grateful be
Only if there is release from the heartache that we see.
Should circumstances always change, before our hearts are free,
Or can we find a joyous release like they
Within the limitations that we feel.
Can we too, trust our Master
With such blind devotion of heart,
Believing His abounding care in all He does impart.
Would this require a miracle
A transforming of the soul within,
How can we find that simple trust for what tomorrow brings.
We may try to run away from fear or be distracted from it's force,
But life haunts us in the quietness
We know we cannot change it's course.
Yet does a puppy's tender eye of love speak of how fragile we also are,
So subject to the big world's unknowns
Who will keep our tender heart?
Jesus can be our loving master
For He broke the power of fear and death,
We can be secure in Him - like puppy love
If in His love we rest.
