  • Number 1- Heal the gut

Most skin issues arise because the liver is not functioning well, 
ie not receiving or processing good essential fatty acids -
(from being overloaded with sugar, refined salt, toxins, omega 6 fats and heavy metals)
Be aware that eczema can get worse when we begin detoxing / altering to a cleansing diet.
The skin is a flushing organ like the liver,
so whatever is toxic inside the body, will erupt through the skin.
(Breastfeeding Mothers, also avoid all below, for toxins will be in the milk.)

Avoid all refined salt, but do use real celtic seasalt or himalayan salt, 
Avoid:  chocolate, sugar, gluten, dairy, all refined flours-(as they clog the digestion and turn into sugars)
Avoid all seed oils, they are very inflammatory, 
because they have been heat processed/damaged and we cannot digest them.
Increase essential fatty acids, avocado, fish oil, ccnut oil, green leaf, seeds, flax, walnuts, salmon, 
DO USE coconut oil, macadamia oil or organic animal fats in baking,
and cold pressed olive oil or avocado oil in salads.
Make vegie juice with apple, to flush system and add quick nutrient.
Drink lemon juice each morning- (difficult for child, so add lemon to baking or to veg juice.)
Lemon juice and vinegar calm itch when applied topically, (dilute it, esp for a child - as it stings)
Buy organic fruit n veg if you can afford it.
ie the less toxins ingested the better.
AVOID all toxic cleaners, sprays, cosmetics, perfumes, etc.
ie in the home use natural cleaners like vinegar, peroxide, lemon juice, borax, orange juice, 
Take probiotics, to get digestion/flora very healthy.
Probiotics are number one to re-gain health, for health begins in digestion.
-buy capsules with at least 20 billion micro-organisms.
Be patient, it will take time for a liver to function well.

Make coconut yoghurt
ie break a probiotic capsule into tepid coconut milk, sit in warm place about 8 hours,
thicken with Tb chia and sit in fridge a while til thick.

Skin problems are from internal inflammation from modern foods, toxins, toiletries, 
causing an unwell/overloaded liver, - so we heal the liver.
We need to cleanse the system.and eat real foods that heal, ie no packets.
Spirulina, Chlorella and Milk thistle are good de-toxers.
Take 1-2 capsules for 1st couple weeks, 
-drink more, 
-take epsom salt baths, 
-drink lemon juice in water, 
-eat plenty of veg, 
-drink a little apple cider vinegar in water,
-aloevera juice is also great for digestion/healing.
-Drink peppermint tea - avoid caffeine.
-keep acidic foods to 30% of diet, ie meat, grains,berries, beans.
But do eat beans, coz they also flush the liver.
Stay off pork and beef for a month, as they are harder to digest, 
When the body is busy working at flushing,  it needs healing /calming foods like veg.- cook sweet tata.
-Avoid the nightshades, like tomato, peppers for a few weeks.

It is the 5 whites that cause the most problems for western health.
1. Gluten / and refined flours
2. Pasteurised/homogenised dairy. Best cheeses are non-animal rennet -Or use goat, sheep cheese, yoghurt.
3. Sugar
4. Refined salt - but DO use seasalt or himalayan salt.
5. Damaged fats, ie seed oils, margy as they are heat processed/damaged.-(they cause weight gain and heart problems etc.) 
----so use ccnut oil, macadamia, animal fats for baking and olive oil for salads
- IF olive oil is cloudy it's good/not heat damaged, + buy in dark glass.
+ no artificial additives, colours, flavours, preservatives
Note - that cuts out all processed food 

AND avoid pharma drugs as soon as possible, so the body can heal normally and liver can be free of toxin -
- Daily make organic veg juice and most vitally go GF and DF, 
- eat like Paleo Protocol,
- increase Vit C and sunshine/vit D.
The old scurvy symptoms are very similar to todays symptoms ie lack of Vit C.
Todays processed products ( cant call them food) drugs, needles, toxins, are playing havoc with our children. 
So many mums with autistic kids are finding healing thru paleo, GF, DF, 
and eradicating heavy metals and toxins from the child.

- The thing with gluten is it is affecting everyone to some degree, 
this is coz in the 50's a guy (who got the Nobel prize) bred wheat shorter to decrease wind damage 
and force more energy into making bigger heads of wheat AND esp. with substantially more gluten 
( to make hard wheat for baking bread etc- farmers receive more money for hard wheat)
------Remember Grt Granny's soft bread that broke. - If only we could have kept good old spelt huh.
This increase in gluten is damaging digestion, inhibiting absorption of nutrient - 
(thyroid issues are normal with GI or celiac.)
THUS hair can fall out.
THUS gluten damage is causing skin problems, cancer, depression, alzheimers, diabetes, bowel disease, auto-immune diseases, migraines, IBS, etc etc, the list is VERY long.
Another problem with wheat is the gliadin content, which is causing inflammation as it travels in the blood stream..
There are about 6 things in wheat/grains that should be tested for.
Hence many are not getting a diagnosis.
The body makes new cells about every 4 mnths, so that is why it takes that long for the gut etc to heal.
BUT it will not heal unless we eat strictly GF, a crumb will keep the gut damaged and no result will be achieved.
Increase Vit C intake and get Sunshine Vit D daily if possible.
It is wise to eat healthy, not trade gluten/grains for commercial processed GF packets / junk food,

Each time we bring a product to our lips, we think - Is this going to make healthy cells, glowing skin, bright eyes, healthy arteries that pump clean blood to every part of me>
Will I be able to walk and hug and enjoy mid/older age.
Is this product I munch on -more important to me than my family/activity/sleep/wellbeing.
Once we get into the swing of uplifting thoughts, then a healthy icecream, a nutritious cake/pancake/snack becomes a pleasure and the stress re eating/choosing/resisting junk is alleviated.
ie we can walk past a cake shop with a totally different mind set.
Treats are very addictive and the pull of the river of food is very strong in community huh.
We use food for comfort, meeting with friends/family etc.
God made the food we need to eat, so He is here for us, for wisdom and strength to eat as He planned. 
(not what man has altered/engineered)

ie use lemon juice, soda, vinegar, it works just as well and kills germs >
The most powerful germ killer is peroxide followed by vinegar.
Clogging our liver with toxins will inhibit weight loss, it is all connected.

    Lavender oil mixed into coconut oil is very good too.

  • Chickweed ointment or coconut oil is nice on chapped lips
    or make/find a natural oil balm mix of  eg
    olive oil, macadamia oil, beeswax, coconut oil, lecithin, propolis, raw honey, peppermint oil.
Epsom salt baths are good. 
Vitamin C dissolved in water will help detox the body which helps eczema calm down. 
Buy vitamin C powder that is NOT derived from GM corn, (corn can make Eczema worse).
Eczema is often a result of dairy and gluten intolerance
Dandelion root tea will help the liver to function better and "decongest" if taken 3 times a day. 
(Maybe lower the amount to 2 times per day for a child.)
It can be drunk warm or cold.
eg Use dandelion like ice coffee using coconut milk / cream)
Or add puree fruit - nice for a child. 
Eat spinach and other greens, avocado, this helps the liver .

Make a topical cream
Heat 8 oz  of Shea butter until melted.
Remove from heat and add 10 - 20 drops of heliochrysum
and 10 - 20 drops of carrot seed oil.
Mix well and pour into a container. Once cooled, apply to eczema liberally as often as needed.
Heliochrysum is very healing as is carrot seed oil.
NOTE: This balm can harden, so run nails through it and place in the palm of hand.
The warmth is enough to soften it.

IMPORTANT info
 -IF you feel you have a reaction to any good fats, eg flax, 
then it may be that your liver is clogged from years of western diet / overload of Omega 6.
So change diet and wait .
When the liver is more flushed from healthy eating,
try flax/nutmeal/chia/fish again, as omega 3 is so excellent for the liver, skin, digestion, brain, nerves etc.
SO, eat well - and gradually increase omega 3's to heal the liver, 
and try flax bread again in 4 mnths,
-- as it takes 4 mnths for the body to make new cells.
