It's been 12 years.- We Will Never Forget...
“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor.
We will remember every family that lives in grief.
We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls,
the funerals of the children.”
-President George W. Bush, November 11, 2001

One clear September morning, we will never forget
The attacks upon our nation that left so many dead
Planes crashing, buildings falling, the Pentagon on fire,
We united one nation under God.
One by one the news of heroes from that day
Emerged to tell the story of Americans' so brave
People helping people, living life beyond themselves
We united one nation under God.
CHORUS
We pledge allegiance to the red, white and blue
One nation under God, united, standing true
Now's our time to do something, to live beyond ourselves
United one nation under God.
Now the years have passed, the call falls to us
Will we do for our neighbor, give of ourselves.
Will we hear the call to do something before it's too late
Will we choose to stay one nation under God.

♥♥ In Loving Remembrance Of All Those
 Who Perished ~Sept 11 2001 ♥♥
                                                                                                                                                                 ♪Sacred nature..by Paul Cardall♪

~ United In prayer~
On this sad day of mourning
Our hearts join with yours in prayer,
United we stand in eternal love
Your deepest grief to share.
As you cried, we cried with you
So helpless, far away,
We watched you scream in pain
In agony day after day.
We stand silent with you
In your memorial of love,
The same strong arms holding you
As your loved ones up above.
God's tears are falling gently
Tenderly watching as you grieve today,
Our love reaches across the ocean
There are no words to say.
But, we entreat our Father to comfort
As only He can do,
To bring His blessed peace
This we pray for you.

Love's memory is love...
Billygraham's remarks given at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.
on Friday, September 14, 2001, brought hope and healing to the shocked nation.
They still hold power, years later.

Dear Lord,
Today as we gather together to pray,we want to remember
all of those who lost their lives on this date eleven years ago.
That day changed our whole world in so many ways Lord.
We saw the worst in humanity and the best all at once.
Images are forever etched in our minds of incredible pain and loss
and incredible acts of selflessness and unconditional love.

Father, we lift up all those who lost loved ones that day and as a result of injuries that day.
We pray that they would feel your peace and comfort as they grieve those
who are no longer with them physically, but who are in their thoughts daily.
May they find some measure of comfort knowing that the world has not forgotten.
This happened on U.S. soil, but there were people
who lost their lives from many countries around the world.
We pray for families everywhere Lord that are feeling loss and grief today.
We pray for families around the globe who have lost loved ones to terrorism .
Lord we ask for your presence and peace and comfort to overshadow thoughts of anger,
hate and retaliation...those feelings just make for more victims and let evil win.
Pour out your blessing around the globe, Lord.
May your angels protect us from those who live to inflict terror in the hearts of men.

Lord, we ask that you will heal the memories
of those who were responders to the tragedies from 9-11.
They have seen things that most of us couldn't imagine in our worst nightmares.
Please bring peace to their minds.
Please bring healing to their bodies
as they suffer the physical effects of all the chemicals and dust and pollutants
 that have damaged their health.
They truly loved with unconditional love and compassion
and we lift them to you with gratitude in our hearts.
We ask that you would bless them abundantly for their sacrifices.

Lord, we know that this world is not our home
and there is coming a day with no more wars and no more hate...
no more pain, tears, grief or loss.
How we look forward to that day Lord!

Father, we pray for all of those who are in harms way...for all who seek to protect us and our lands.
Lord, our world can be a scary place, but we ask that you would help us to look to you
and not the things that would make us fearful.
We pray for strength and courage to endure hard times.
We may not be able to change the world, but we can do what we can to show love and compassion
and point the way to You..right where we are... one person at a time.
I pray that we could all once again, have that sense of unity that we felt after 9-11.
It was not only in the U.S., but it was felt around the world.
We all had love and compassion for our fellow-man.
Pour out your love and your comfort today Lord as we all remember....
In Jesus name we pray, Amen
In Him,
Debbie

~ Love's Sept 11 Kiss ~
When he dialed his wife with fear
 and called his love goodbye
I took his hand, I held his heart
In mine, to never die

His wife, I held her close,
when words exploded in her ear
I whispered to the children
And cradled them so near

The lady on floor Twenty three,
 I comforted, 'Life never ends'
Then called her, ' Come it's time
We are forever friends'

I gave the precious words to say,
to the priest down at the base
My courage was his own
That he might keep his place

I traveled on the planes,
ever present with each heart
Giving sight to see beyond
With the love that I impart

When the flames and pain were high,
they saw Me, I was there
The ones who took my hand
They knew my endlless care

I was with each grieving family,
and held them in their grief
I felt the tears and anger
My arms were underneath

I whispered with my love,
that heaven's more than this
I'm drawing all who love Me
I hold them with love's kiss.

~ There Is Only Forever~

A great group of the chosen gathered
to ponder, close by heavens' gate
They had a pressing need to know
how all had come this way today
Upon this chosen date

Though borne so safe on angels' wings
a heartbreak trail was left behind
And as the cause of only grief;
They asked why sorrow was to be life's parting gift
All that remains of years to find

And while they prayed and thought so much
The Lord of glory walked by then
And said, there's much to know of why you came
and about the way a heart is led
For all My love to comprehend

You fulfilled your days upon the earth
Your courageous purpose there is done
I knew for you, what pain the memory would become-
So I called you to unveil more of Myself
For your dearest ones to know my love

They live on now to overcome
Each day they will seek to see your face
Your leaving them, is your embrace
Departing is a gift to give
To show more of My loving grace

They will be sad a few short years
Missing you and all they had
But, sadness serves to bring them near
and then one day will fade to nought
When there is forever, to be so glad

There are no tears, no fears to keep
Only rejoicing now, for all ahead
I'll give them strength, and give them hope
I will make sure they're truly fed
So they will know you are not dead

You gave your life, as I have mine
To taste of death to see divine
All who love Me are already here, in heart they fly
In all I am, each heart is blessed
In Me, we never say goodbye

Death is the gift of heaven

Come To Me
Come with me to my kingdom..
just take my hand and I will lead the way
Walk with me, through my home land and together
we will turn, the darkness into day
Come to me...to my kingdom it's a place
that's full of joy, peace and harmony
Come with me...our Father's waiting
and eternal love...is what all will receive.
Come with me...to my kingdom ...Just take my hand...and have belief in me
Come to me...leave behind your pain and sorrow...
if you trust in me and my Father...
your soul it will be freed
Come with me...and I'll help you through your journey...just take my hand and I will lead the way
Walk with me...and I'll always be beside you...and together we'll turn...the darkness into day

~And God Cried Too~

Lord, around these times we're tentative
About this warring earth
We need Your peace within our hearts
The promise of Your Word

You must be crying too
To see all this unrest
Your clock of time now winding down
Until mans' final test

We cannot tell what's coming next
We need Your mighty hand
May our lives be held in Yours
For all we need to stand

Though turmoil rage on every shore
Eternal peace is ours to keep
Our souls secure within Your love
Though our hearts may softly weep

Each day we're safe within Your care
Every comrade soldier fighting strife
Dear Father, may our leaders find all wisdom
By asking You for light

May truth expose all evil power
Protect us in Your loving will
Hold us in the life You give
In Your great love, our fear is stilled

~ Ray Of Hope ~

A song of sympathy is echoing
It's cry of deep compassion still,
From the dry Australian outback
To the steamy jungles of Brazil.

A bridge across the world of love
Unites our hearts through weeping tears,
To comfort grieving heartache
Not stilled by passing years.

Each moment questions come
Seeking solace all the more,
While time is capturing the treasure
Of sweet memory of all.

May the strength we find together
Praying to the Lord, as one,
Reassure the lurking fear
Of lovers, parents, daughters, sons.

For though we speak of gathering courage
From stage of rising might,
Softly fall the broken tears of grief
In the silence of the night.

Then may those tears keep falling
They will not be wept in vain,
Our precious Father's gentle Hand
Always cradles lonely pain.

His tears mingle in the coldest rain
With arms extended from above,
To enfold each broken heart
He whispers reassuring love.

For as the bridge o'er troubled water
He comes, to bear us home,
He is the ray of lasting hope
His peace will be our own.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
 I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 23 (AKJV)

God Will Not Fail You
When you walk through a dark valley,
No fear shall grip your soul.
When you’re climbing a steep mountain,
His hand will not let go.
When you’re waiting for an answer
To a prayer in Jesus’ name,
It will soon be granted to you;
You won’t be brought to shame

There’s not a promise He’s ever broken.
Nothing’s failed that He has said.
He will not forsake you;
Like the sparrow you’ll be fed.
God will not fail you;
He will not leave you alone.
God will not fail you;
He does not forsake His own.

When in a time of suffering
You’re seeking for His touch,
His presence will not turn away;
He loves you much too much
When the pain of a great trial
Seems to tear your heart in two,
His arms reach out with mercy
To sustain and comfort you.

There’s not a promise He’s ever broken.
Nothing’s failed that He has said.
He will not forsake you;
Like the sparrow you’ll be fed.
God will not fail you;
He will not leave you alone.
God will not fail you;
He does not forsake His own.

Hope For The Broken Hearted

"The hero is commonly the simplest and obscurest of men-.Henry David Thoreau

Thank you to all the men and women who sacrifice for us on a daily basis.
The number of deaths related to 9/11 continues to grow from all the dedicated people
who are dying as a result of their long exposure to toxins at ground zero.
Let us not forget those who give sacrificially because there is a job to be done.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son
into the world that we might live through him.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us
and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:7-11
