Dear Father, hold fast every heart, as You alone can do
May each one find Your tender love,
 in all they're passing through
It's danger time ahead,
 throughout the USA
Oh, may Your angels protect them all,

 and lead them in Your way

There's heartache borne in every state, in aching fear of loss
Please, comfort all those hurting,
 with life found at the cross
May eyes of faith keep looking up,
 to view the future in Your light
Spread calm in every terror
, with Your love in the night

Give strength to all the weary, open hope unto the poor
Grant sleep to all the frightened,
 may each soul know You more
May trust come as a miracle,
 to find some joy in pain
Oh Lord, please spread Your wings of comfort,

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.

Psalm 46:1-3 
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified,
for the Lord your God goes with you;
He will never leave you or forsake you."

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

~Through The Storms Of Life~

We knew the front was brewing,
Rising higher in it's wrath,
Advancing, churning forces,
It's might could not be stopped.
We heard the rolling thunder,
The ferocity of wind,
A threat to every home,
Great fear to surely bring.
We tasted dust upon the wind
With lips e'er parched and dry,
Our hearts were in our mouths,
Too paralysed to cry.

We felt the calm before the storm,
That drawing, eerie air,
The uncertainty, suspense,
Not knowing when or where.
We groaned beneath the burden
Now, falling to our knees,
Dear God, please stay the storm
Haste, hearken to our plea.
But, still the surge kept swirling
As we braced for the approach,
Yet, deep within, we shuddered
The force would have to blow.

For latent heat amasses
From pressure built too long,
Intensifying conflict
By disturbances gone wrong.
Perhaps it was, a little system But,
after great rotating ways,
It's strength had surely festered
To thunder forth this day.
But, yet, in pattern coursing,
E'er swirling 'round us all,
There is an eye therein
Where peace is ever drawn.

Just like a fledgling 'pon a ridge
Tucked tight within a cleft,
There's calm found in the jet stream
Where souls are safely kept.
The Father's arms around us,
Held closely in His care,
While bounded by cold howling winds
Our hearts He'll always bear.

We see and hear and feel, the storm as Jesus did,
But by all He gave, in death for us
 His life,
 we now can live.
Everlasting life is the gift He always gives.

to guard you in all your ways.

~ And God Cried Too ~
Lord, at this terrifying time,  we're tentative about this warring earth
We need Your peace within our hearts, the promise of Your Word
 You must be crying too, to see all this unrest
Your clock of time now winding down, until man's final test

We cannot tell what's coming next, we need Your mighty hand
May our lives be held in Yours, for all we need, to stand
Though turmoil rage on every shore, eternal peace is ours to keep
Our souls secure within Your love Though our hearts may softly weep

Each day we're safe within Your care, each comrade soldier fighting strife
Dear Father, may our leaders find all wisdom, by asking You for light
May truth expose all evil power, protect us in Your loving will
Hold us in the life You give, for only in Your love our fear is stilled

In the secret of God's tabernacle no enemy can find us,
and no troubles can reach us.
 The secret of his presence is a more secure refuge, than a thousand Gibraltar's.
I do not mean that no trials come.
They may come in abundance,

but they cannot penetrate into the sanctuary of the soul,
and we may dwell in perfect peace

even in the midst of life's fiercest storms.

In trusting Him, we not only enter into his rest and peace,
but remain there.
 We can’t carry the load of the world on our shoulders,
and we don’t have to.
God is more than capable of handling our affairs and the affairs of this world.

Lord, we come to You, The only source of all
Hearts aflame for who You are
Crying in our need, the more, for when we cannot understand
With no-where else to go

  We come together today in a silence, to unite as one to pray
For all those hurting and struggling

in the aftermath of terror's sway.

 who have lost loved ones and homes,

Our prayers of intercession, uplift all who struggle on with courage
The emergency teams,
 working around the clock
To re-build and restore,

My Jesus loves me, Oh, Blessed thought!
By His precious blood my soul is bought! 
He Who loved me so much to die in my place, 
Loves me now through His abundant grace.

He Who loves me, loves me still-
Though I'm weak, frail and ill.
He loves me when days are hard and long,
And He loves me when I'm discouraged and lost my song.

My Jesus loves me when I've a glad song,
And He loves me when I've done very wrong.
He loves me when the storms of life fly,
Holding me, caressing me when I'm afraid and begin to cry.

My Lord loves me with a love eternal,
Never leaving nor forsaking me with mercy supernal.
Nothing shall separate us from such love, whatever may be.

~ Ray Of Hope ~
A song of sympathy is echoing, with cry of deep compassion still,
From the expanses of a dry Australian outback, to the steamy jungles of Brazil.
For a bridge all across the world of loving hearts, unites together as one hope in the tears,
To comfort the grieving heartache, not stilled by passing years.

Every moment the questions come, maybe yet anew, seeking solace all the more,
For time is capturing the treasure, of the sweet memory of all.
But may the strength combined, of prayer rising to the throne as one,
Reassure the lurking fear, of lovers, parents, daughters, sons.

For though we speak of gathering courage, from platforms of rising might,
Softly fall the broken tears of grief, in the silence of the night.
Then may those tears keep falling, for they will not be wept in vain,
Our precious Father's gentle Hand, is still cradling every pain.

As His tears mingle in the coldest rain, with arms extended wide in tender hugs,
To enfold each broken heart, in whispers of His reassuring love.
For as the bridge o'er troubled water, He comes, so we are not alone,
For in Him, shine rays of everlasting hope - in His peace we are at home.

~ One In Prayer ~
On this sad day of mourning
Our hearts join with yours in prayer,
United we stand in eternal love, your deepest grief to share.
As you cried, we cried with you
So helpless, far away, we watched you scream in pain, in agony day after day.
We stand silent with you, in your memorial of love,
The same strong arms holding you
As your loved ones up above.
God's tears are falling gently, tenderly watching as you grieve today,
Our love reaches across the ocean
There are no words to say.   But, we entreat our Father to comfort
As only He can do, to bring His blessed peace
This we pray for you.

~ Tsunami ~
A single moment and darkness rolled in, life paused, not for moments, but for forever,
Still to stare into the unknown, for danger ravaged on our own.
Deep cries pierce the silent empty night, where there is no light,
Only sad grief to roll on and on, where there is nothing left to fight.

And yet, how shall we pray far away, when in our hearts the words just die,
We but gaze at the desolate sorrow, gentle tears are all we cry.
We want to ease the suffering and grief. Helpless, we pray it be so,
Lord Jesus, send Your angels as You will, You alone know where to go.

Touch each grieving soul with Your light, fill that empty loss within,
With no-where else to turn, You alone, know the miracles to bring.
To every heartbroken mother, every father, the lost, the wounded, little ones alone,
Thank You for every tiny precious angel, You carried safely to Your home.

Impart to all those working day and night, wisdom, protection, strength to give,
Pour loving relief in everywhere, to all those crying out to live.
Dear Father turn the waters back at Your command, shine Your warmth down from above,
Cleanse the pain and wash away the fear
Fill inconsolable hearts with Your eternal love.

~ After The Tsunami ~
Shall the sea now be still, with The Spirit of God, yet hovering on the waters,
Though a darkness is still felt, is something more powerful to be purposed.
What is this love, far greater than man, sweeping wide through this land,
Rising up from the flood, in the destruction, that none understands.

We stand in awe as we watch untold hearts, pouring out from within,
A care and a compassion, to give, like the world has never seen.
The light of sacrificial souls, the wonder of those kept safe in their way,
Stories of miraculous rescues, how some were led on that day.

Angels swept down with their care, placed in God's perfect will,
To reach out with a gentle touch, for those God means to live still.
How did that man lift that roof, why did another turn back and see
A child caught in a swirl, and restore her to heartbroken family.

The mother who raced in the waves, screaming, her children be safe,
To all find each other hours later, miracles, none can explain.
While countless others shall never be recovered,  secrets locked, not to be found,
Loved ones screaming in pain, dear God, You know the depths, each crying sound.

You alone hold the keys, You unlock all we can't know,
We can but kneel, humbled, as You lovingly build Your eternal kingdom
Overflowing with Your own.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son
 into the world that we might live through him.
 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us
and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Oh, our hearts of love reach out,
to each broken heart today
Crying in the devastation,

the loss, the hurt, the pain
We stand together with them,

on knees of tender prayer
Be all they need, compassion Lord,

wing our comfort there

May assurances of help,
soften sad and shattered dreams
May love within the darkness,

the deep sorrow intervene
   Mere words cannot convey,

nothing said can be enough
Oh Lord, we lift our prayer to You,

to hold them in Your love

Touch each with a special promise,

~ Love's Sept 11 Kiss ~
When he dialed his wife with fear
And called his love goodbye, I took his hand,
I held his heart in mine, to never die
His wife, I held her close,
when words exploded in her ear
I whispered to the children
And cradled them so near

The lady on floor Twenty three
I murmered 'Life will never end'
Then called her, ' Come it's time
We are forever friends'
I gave the precious words to say
To the pastor at the base
My courage was his own
That he might keep his place

I traveled on the planes
Ever present with each heart
Giving sight to see beyond
With the love that I impart
When the flames and pain were high
They saw Me, I was there
The ones who took my hand
They knew my endlless care

I was with each grieving family
And held them in their grief
I felt the tears and anger
My arms were underneath
I whispered with my love
That heaven's more than this
I'm drawing all who love Me
I hold them with love's kiss.

~ There Is Only Forever ~
A great group of the chosen gathered to ponder, close by heaven's gate
They had a pressing need to know how all had come this way today,

upon this chosen date
Though borne so safe on angels' wings, a heartbreak trail was left behind
They asked why sorrow was to be life's parting gift,

if that is all that would remain of years to find
   
And while they prayed and thought so much, The Lord of glory walked by then
And said, there's much to know of why you came, for all My love to comprehend
You fulfilled your days upon the earth, your courageous purpose there is done
I knew for you, what pain the memory would become-

So I called you, to unveil Myself, for your dearest ones to know my love
They live on now to overcome
Each day they will seek to see your face, so your leaving them, is your embrace
Departing is a gift, you gave, to unfold more of My amazing grace

They will be sad a few short years, missing you and all they had
But, sadness serves to bring them near, and then one day will fade,
when they realise there is eternity, to be glad
There are no tears, no fears to keep, only rejoicing now.
For all ahead I'll give them strength,
and give them hope and I will make sure they're truly fed

They will know you are not dead
You gave your life, as I have mine, to taste of death
to see divine. All who love Me are already here, in heart they fly
In all I am, each heart is blessed, in Me, we never say goodbye

"The gift of heaven" 
Come To Me Come with me to my kingdom.. just take my hand and I will lead the way
Walk with me, through my home land and together we will turn, the darkness into day
Come to me...to my kingdom it's a place that's full of joy, peace and harmony
Come with me...our Father's waiting and eternal love...is what all will receive.
Come with me...to my kingdom ...Just take my hand...and have belief in me
Come to me...leave behind your pain and sorrow...

if you trust in me and my Father...your soul it will be freed
Come with me...and I'll help you through your journey...

I lost the movement, beauty, my wings, beat, beat, cry, but none could heal.
My eyes, film over, cannot see, a net of bondage, woebegone
Struggling alone, fight, fight, the power,
Grasps, the liberty is gone.

The light, shutters, bars me out, like lashes  from a raging fire,
As sound of rushing wind, billows, billows, tearing down in blackest mire.
  No peace, no peace, gasping beat, the air, air, for mercy, cry,
But, none hear the words, I cannot say
And none will hear the why.

Raw death, stench, ripping life, away, the shadow, shroud,
Where now, no life blood, future, but waves lap, lap, incessant sound.
Weep here, weep darkness, weep paradise, majesty, bend, bend, low
Collapse here, broken, nightmare-
There is no-where to go.

But, Lord, we cry a miracle- 
This time, it is too much, too much is
Broken, buried, lost beneath the gavel- 
Oh Lord, we need Your touch.

~ Are You Crying? ~
Dear Father, You never turned away, not e'en to dry Your tears
You saw, You heard, You felt each cry, You held them in their fear
Please, tell us of Your secrets.  What is it that You know
As You carried them on home, away from all this hurt that overflows

May each little heart be healed, left behind, who saw so much
O Lord, we pray today, they will feel Your tender touch
Your promises are sure, You are with us in all grief
Comfort, comfort, bless them all, as every need You meet

Cause each heart from shore to shore, to intercede in this
Fall upon our knees in sorrow, for how we all have sinned
So each day, awake or sleep, we see the fear within their eyes
We must tell them of Your heaven now, Dear Father, make us realise
Just how unsafe we are, if Your life is not in everyone
You care so much, You died for all... 
Are You crying in Your love?
